Diamond Certification

When buying or investing in a diamond, it always pays to make sure it is certified. ESKAE only source certified diamonds, and we prefer to have our diamonds certified by the Gemological Institute of America. The GIA, is renown as the world leader in the quality and depth of their reporting on not only white diamonds, but also coloured diamonds and coloured gemstones.

While the buying and giving of a diamond, is the most important and romantic expression of love and commitment a couple can share, it is also a major investment of time, energy and money. A certificate will give you the peace of mind that you deserve after acquiring such a great and beautiful piece of mother nature.

There are some basic elements that should ALWAYS be on your certificate, you can see them here. If you have a diamond that has been certified by another laboratory and you find that some or even any of these elements are not present on your certificate, then I would suggest getting in touch with me at Sam@EskaeJeweller.com to have your diamond regraded by the worlds most forthright laboratory.

I can say this because, the GIA have a particularly strict set of guidelines that every diamond and or gemstone must meet to achieve each different grade. Your GIA certificate will detail these procedures and the scrutiny that each diamond is put through, to assess how well it compares the the 4C’s of diamonds. The GIA also have more information about the process and the 4C’s on their website, which is a great place to start if you are looking at making a purchase.

One of the best things about the GIA is that they are not affiliated with any diamond wholesaler or retailer, so you will have the extra peace of mind in knowing that the report you have is from a completely independent source. Another great feature about the reports from the GIA is that they have a security hologram, security screen and microprint lines, all of which are security measures that exceed the industry standard.

Get in touch with me now, to discuss your options about diamond certification.

Sam.

P.S if you also have any coloured gemstones you would like to have ESKAE look at for you, we can have the GIA do a GEM IDENTIFICATION REPORT for you.
