Which metals do you think are the rarest in the world?

I am pretty sure that you would be able to pick at least two of them.

Gold and Platinum.

They are fairly common place in our society today, and have a fair amount of history behind them with many ancient cultures being established on their finding the metals and their ability to trade the metal with other cultures.
